Congratulations to our new MASTERS!!!
In October 2007, two of PMA's long standing student/instructors were promoted to and awarded the title of MASTER. The amount of time and effort involved can only be understood by those who has achieved this level. The new Masters are (as seen below) Jonathan Argomaniz and Ryan Argomaniz . Yes, they are related. Way to go guys!!
Saturday, May 3, 2008 our fourth MASTER ranking was awarded to Desiree Damon. Desiree began her training at PMA in 1995 at the age of twelve. She became a fixture at the school throughout high school, and always returned during college breaks and summer vacations. After graduating from college she returned to the school and is still training and teaching. Master Damon also holds a 2nd Degree black belt in Combat Hapkido.
Saturday, May 10, 2008 our fifth MASTER ranking was awarded to Ron Tsang. Ron began her training at PMA in 1995. Ron has been studying martial arts all his life, with his first foray being in Tai Chi. This he learned from his father. Unfortunately, early in 2008, Ron and his wife moved to the Washington DC area to be close to their families. He is sorely missed at PMA. Master Tsang also holds a 2nd Degree black belt in Combat Hapkido.
Annual Fall Combat Hapkido Seminar

On Saturday, September 20th, Martial arts legend, Grandmaster John Pellegrini conducted a seminar at Plano Martial Arts Academy. Grandmaster Pellegrini is sought throughout the world by Martial Arts, Law Enforcement and Military organizations to provide effective and practical self-defense training. Grandmaster Pellegrini has been featured by numerous martial arts publications and has graced the covers of many of the best known magazines. If you missed the "Dallas" (Plano) seminar, GMP will be back next September.
